MAPSWITCH TOOL · COMING SOON

Four maps. One button press. No laptop.

The IntelliTun Mapswitch Tool puts several map sets into one file, for example stock, Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 2 + Pop. You activate and switch them in the vehicle with button and key combinations on existing controls, and the instrument cluster shows the selected map. All maps of a set switch at the same time, the calibration stays original. Our own IntelliTun implementation, first for Bosch MG1.

How you work with it

01

Upload the file

Drag the original or your modified file into the workspace. Recognition shows ECU, software version and vehicle and checks whether the family is released for Mapswitch.

02

Assemble the maps

Stock plus your own IntelliTun stages from the file service, for example Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 2 + Pop, or your own map sets. Every map is a complete set.

03

Assign positions 1 to 4

You decide which map sits on which position. Position 1 is usually stock, so the vehicle can return to its delivery state at any time.

04

Receive and write the file

The finished file with Mapswitch is in the order for download. Correct the checksums with the Checksum Tool, then write the file as usual.

Features in detail

Switching by button combination

A button or key combination on existing controls activates the selection, lets you change the map and confirms it. No laptop, no extra switch, no extra device in the cabin.

Up to four map sets

Stock, Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 2 + Pop or your own combination. Each position is a complete map set, not just a few values.

Shown in the instrument cluster

During selection the instrument cluster shows which map is selected. No lamp, no app, the vehicle shows it itself.

Calibration stays original

The existing maps are not overwritten. Each map set gets its own pointer table, switching happens via the central table base. That is why all maps of a set switch at the same time.

Our own IntelliTun implementation

No third-party code, no foreign patches. The implementation comes from our own development and is checked per software version before a family is released. The file is bound to the vehicle identification number.

Fits your IntelliTun files

The stages come from the file service, you switch off fault codes beforehand with the DTC Tool, the Checksum Tool corrects the checksums. All in the same workspace.

Who is the tool for?

Tuners with motorsport customers

One file for track day and return to stock: stock is always reachable, the stages are for use away from public roads.

File service customers

Your existing IntelliTun stages become maps in one file. No second flash for every stage.

Workshops with MG1 vehicles

RS3 8Y, RS6 and RS7 C8 are regularly on your lift? Then the first family gets you started right away.

Coming soon

The Mapswitch Tool is in development. It will appear first in the workspace on intellituning.com, date and prices are not yet fixed. If you register your interest, we will let you know as soon as the first family is released.

Planned price: 7 credits per file, included in the workshop package. The final price will be set at release.

Register interest and be the first to know

Tell us briefly which vehicles and ECUs you have coming up. That way we know which families come first after Bosch MG1, and you get a message at launch.

The plan is that customers with a tool pass or the workshop package receive the Mapswitch Tool automatically when it is released. Details follow with the release.

Offer exclusively for businesses. All prices net, plus VAT. Prices subject to change.

Frequently asked questions

Which ECUs are supported?

To start with Bosch MG1, for example Audi RS3 8Y with MG1CS163 and RS6/RS7 C8 with MG1CS008. Further families follow as soon as the test run per software version is complete. Tell us which vehicles you have coming up.

How do I switch in the vehicle?

A button or key combination on existing controls activates the selection, switches the map and confirms it. The instrument cluster shows which map is selected. You get the exact operation with the finished file, it may differ per vehicle.

Is this approved for public roads?

No. Switchable power stages and especially a pop/bang map are not approved for use on public roads under German road traffic regulations (StVO) and are for testing and motorsport purposes only. Responsibility for their use lies with the user.

When will the tool be available?

It is in development. We will only name a date once the first family has passed the test run. Registering your interest is worthwhile: you get a message at launch.

Do I need checksums?

Yes, as after every change to the file. The Checksum Tool in the same workspace does the correction as soon as the family is covered there.

What happens to my existing IntelliTun files?

Nothing is lost. Your stages from the file service can be taken over as maps in the Mapswitch file, stock remains as its own position. The Mapswitch file is bound to the vehicle identification number.
