Frequently asked questions
What does the pre-check cost?
Nothing. Credits are only debited once you have an original created and it is delivered.
What if my software version is not in the database?
Then the check tells you so, and nothing is debited. You can still have the file processed in the file service.
Is the original byte-identical to the factory state?
If the version is in the database, yes. Otherwise the calibration area is reconstructed from the reference data, and the result is delivered with a checksum.
Can I order original and tune in one order?
Yes. Upload the modified file as a tuning order and select ‘Create original file’. The original then costs less, and the new tune builds on it.
Is there a daily limit?
Yes, 10 originals per day and account. That protects the database and is enough for everyday workshop use.
