Pops & bangs – as finely adjustable as in the tool
The simulator shows what the controls in the Pop & Launch Tool do: overrun ignition angle, rpm window, duration and activation. Lift off – and listen, if you like.
As in the tool: 0 to −49.5°, character moderate (to −12.5°), punchy (to −22.5°), strong (to −33°), extreme (beyond).
Only pops in Sport or Dynamic drive mode – in everyday driving the car stays quiet.
Illustrative visualisation – not a dyno and no statement about a specific vehicle. In the tool, all values come from the loaded file.

The family is detected from the file content, never from the file name. Result files carry PRUEFSUMME_OFFEN (checksum open) in their name – then set the checksum, e.g. with the Checksum Tool.

Full revs at the start – limited to the exact point
For Bosch MED9.1.2 you set the launch rpm and thresholds in the tool. Hold the button and watch the limiter hold the revs – let go, and you're off.
On a phone: keep your finger on the button. With a keyboard: hold the space bar.

Mapswitch. Four maps. At the push of a button.
Up to four map sets in one file – for example stock, Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 2 with Pop & Bang. In the car you activate and switch them with a button combination on existing controls, such as the cruise control stalk; the instrument cluster shows the active map. The calibration stays original.

Book Elite
Choose month or year and pay directly – by card, PayPal or bank transfer.
Load your file
Upload the file in the workspace or open it directly in the Pop & Launch Tool. Detection works on the content, not the name.
Adjust
Choose stage, options or pops & bangs, set ignition angle, rpm window and duration, and review every change.
Download the export package
Result file, unchanged input file and change log in one package. Then set the checksum – done.

Good to know
What is the difference between Business and Elite?
Elite includes everything in Business – 25 files per day, 300 per month, 50 original files, Stage 1, Stage 1+ and Stage 2 with options and Gearbox optimisation, plus all IntelliTuning tools – and, exclusively, the Pop & Launch Tool with 3 export packages per day and Gearbox optimisation Performance for high-performance vehicles and sports cars. On top, the website configurator Classic or Modern is included free of charge – worth up to €1,188 per year on its own, 50 % off in Business. The Mapswitch Tool will be added exclusively soon, at no extra cost.
What is Gearbox optimisation Performance?
For high-performance vehicles and sports cars: a sharper shift strategy, shorter shift times, higher torque releases and Launch Control with more bite. Among subscriptions it is included exclusively in IntelliTun Elite. Gearbox optimisation – matched to the extra power: shift times, torque limits, Launch Control and rev limits of the transmission control unit – is included in subscriptions from IntelliTun Business. With credits, every customer can book both stages individually: Gearbox optimisation 10 credits, Gearbox optimisation Performance 15 credits.
Can I get the Pop & Launch Tool on its own?
No. Pop & Launch is only included in IntelliTun Elite – not via credits, tool passes or other subscriptions.
How is the daily quota counted?
3 export packages per calendar day (Europe/Berlin), counted per input file. The same file does not count again within 24 hours. The new day starts at midnight.
Which ECUs does Pop & Launch support?
Bosch MED9.1.2 (pops with 1 or 2 stages, launch control), Bosch MG1, MED17, MEVD17, MED17.7.x and Continental Simos 18.x and 19.x (pops & bangs in sport mode, in DSG S or permanently, exhaust flap, shift bang). Bosch MED9.x follows soon.
How long is the launch price valid?
Until 30/11/2026 and only for 50 launch spots in total. If you book during this period, you keep the launch price for the entire booked term – month or year.
May I use pops & bangs and launch control on public roads?
No. Pops and launch control are not approved for road use and are intended solely for testing and motorsport on closed, non-public tracks. The user is responsible for how they are used.
Are checksums corrected?
The Pop & Launch Tool does not correct checksums. The result file carries PRUEFSUMME_OFFEN in its name; you then set the checksum, for example with the Checksum Tool included in Elite.
What about the Mapswitch Tool?
The Mapswitch Tool is coming soon – exclusively in IntelliTun Elite. Elite customers get it automatically at launch and at no extra cost; there is no separate price and no additional package. Up to four map sets in one file, switched in the car with a button combination, first for Bosch MG1 and MED17.5.
Is the configurator really fully included?
Yes. With IntelliTun Elite you choose Classic or Modern and your domain in your account – at no extra cost, as long as your Elite subscription runs. On its own the configurator costs up to €99 per month, i.e. up to €1,188 per year. We integrate it in your design. In IntelliTun Business it is 50 % off.
Can you also build the matching website?
Yes – on request as a one-off add-on to your Elite subscription: €499 net for a high-quality website of standard scope, €749 net including logo design and Google/web optimisation, €999 net for a website built entirely to your wishes. The configurator is integrated straight away. Just tell us what you need.
